The current avalanche of information has increasingly, for some of us, taken on the the appeal of yesterday's toast.

Rumi said, "I used to want buyers for my words. Now I wish someone would buy me away from words."* Sold. Ditto for images.

One worthy goal is learn less and less until we know nothing at all. Such a thought carries with it the jasmine scent of freedom. Don't ask why; you've probably known it all along.

In whatever we do, the Big Picture hovers around and above, eternally grinning. Like Mona Lisa, it is saying something alarmingly indefinite, but irresistably beguiling. If the grin could speak it might say: Everything you've done and ever will do never happened. Everything you've ever known, if it was useful - you couldn't know it. So, relax and enjoy the play - discover your self. Be still. And then howl away.

Sins and Retributions
So, to make atonement for these words that have already laid detriment to their own use, let's placate convention by playing with 3 enduring principles to be used in our relationships and practices.

1. Learn our stuff well, and then be willing to not know.
2. Be ready to let the creative fire of silence do its job.
3. Give an answer, but only if we must. Better to be it.

Now and then, for the sake of balance, let's go ahead and stock up on some useful information, - just for those rainy days.

When it comes to a choice between information and inspiration, though, you know what to do. In the meanwhile, bask in the glow of no information, and forget what you just read here.
